I couldn't find info on how well CreateSpace (or others) print full-color books. I'm looking to publish a book digest of the articles on my website, and it's necessary to include color images - about 300 of them! Any advice?

Bob,
I really like your websites! I wish I had found them sooner. I sold my photo art at the Quayside Gallery In Pensacola, Florida for several years. I enjoy both Photoshop and Painter.
Bob, I don’t know much about CreateSpace’s color printing, except that it is quite reasonable in price ($.09 a page plus $.90 for the cover). I have read two reviews by photographers that were quite happy with their color printing, but I don’t know if they were pros or not. I believe their largest book is 8 X 10 inches, which might not be big enough for you.
Lulu is more expensive, but they do print larger books. I have read one satisfied review for Lulu’s color printing, but again, I don’t know if he or she was a pro or not. You obviously are a pro, so you may be more particular.
If you are going to do the layout yourself, the only cost to you would be the wholesale price of the book with either company, so I would certainly give it a try.
If you are going to pay for the layout, be sure to go with someone who doesn’t charge by the picture.
Have you been to their forums? You might try asking if anyone has used color printing and if they were satisfied.
I would enjoy knowing how it works out.
